The Open Enrollment period for Texas BASIS Charter Schools is NOT first-come, first-served. All applications completed during the Open Enrollment period are included within the lottery pool.
Texas Open Enrollment Ends - December 15, 2020
Apply by midnight on the last day of Open Enrollment. If, for any grade level, the number of applicants exceeds the number of openings, there will be a lottery to determine enrollment and waitlist numbers.
Texas Post Open Enrollment Period Begins - December 16, 2020
Applications completed after Open Enrollment will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis behind applications received during the Open Enrollment period.
Texas Lottery and Offers - January 12, 2021
Texas lotteries and offers begin on January 12, 2020. Initial offers are for entry grades.
