Biography

Brittany Walker joined the BASIS network in 2016 as the Director of Lower School at BASIS Scottsdale. She spent two years in that position before transferring to BASIS Scottsdale Primary East as the Director of Student Affairs. In 2019, she transitioned into the Head of School role.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, which led her into her teaching career. She taught a variety of elementary school grades while attending school to earn her master’s degree.

Mrs. Walker graduated from Arizona State University with a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, as well as her Principal Certification. After teaching and earning her degree, she moved on to hold positions as an Instructional Coach and Vice Principal. She has many years of experience working for charter school organizations in a variety of capacities.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Walker has worked with a wide range of students across the Valley and is honored to be leading a school dedicated to providing students with an exceptional education. She also highly values partnering with families and the community, and believes it is an essential part of education.

Mrs. Walker is confident that all BASIS Charter School students can thrive and be successful when presented with high academic expectations and a positive learning environment.
