Welcome to BASIS Charter Schools

The highest performing tuition-free, public school network in the U.S.

BASIS Charter School is a network of TUITION-free, public charter schools serving grades K-12. Our nationally ranked schools can be found in Arizona, Louisiana, Texas, and Washington D.C. We are well-known for our STEM-infused, liberal arts curriculum. Beginning in our Primary schools (K-3), we are committed to creating an environment of learning. We build on our students natural curiosity and love of learning. In our upper grades (4-8) and high schools (9-12), students will be challenged with a wide range of subjects. Our older students are academically challenged and focused on college and university prep.

We believe in building a strong academic foundation for our students. BASIS Charter Schools are committed to helping our students build an incredible future!

    The BASIS Charter School Curriculum
We believe that academic success on our charter school campuses is achieved one grade level at a time. Our proprietary curriculum is taught by Subject Expert Teachers. Our SETs develop their lesson plans to encourage critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. We also have a co-teaching model, with two instructors per classroom in grades 1–3. This model maximizes student’s learning potential and nurtures their desire to excel. The combination of STEM-infused, liberal arts curriculum and dedicated teachers, lays the foundation for achievement in middle school, high school, and beyond.
