Since joining the network in 2015, Mrs. Duncan has served BASIS Charter School students and families as the Curriculum Coordinator at BASIS Phoenix Central, Head of Operations at BASIS Phoenix South Primary, and VP of Operations at BASIS Independent Schools.

Mrs. Duncan grew up in Germany, where she received her BA in Education from the University of Regensburg, in Bavaria. Upon moving to the United States in 2002, she taught traditional high school courses in the Phoenix area, served as a campus director at the International School of Arizona, and taught German as a second language to adults,

Mrs. Duncan aims to further the BASIS Scottsdale culture of excellence by building positive working relationships of trust, ensuring an exceptional learning environment, and preparing students to reach academic, social, and ethical success.
