BASIS Charter School Students Named Flinn Scholars 2023

BASIS Charter School Students Named Flinn Scholars 2023

We are thrilled to announce that the Flinn Foundation has named not one but two BASIS Charter School students as Flinn Scholars. Only 20 students from across the state of Arizona receive the prestigious Flinn Scholarship each year, so this is a big accomplishment!

Congratulations to:

The Flinn Scholarship, valued at more than $130,000, is a merit-based award that provides high school seniors a full ride to one of the three public universities in Arizona: Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University. It covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, and two study-abroad experiences. Additionally, Flinn Scholars gain membership into their university’s honors college.

The scholarship, now in its 38th year, is considered the most competitive and prestigious college scholarship in the state. It is provided by the Phoenix-based Flinn Foundation in partnership with Arizona’s public universities.

We are proud to have multiple students participate in this process and are excited to see what these students do next in their educational journey.

At BASIS Charter Schools, we are dedicated to preparing our students for college. Our seniors meet daily with College Guidance Coordinators, who guide students through the college application process and identify scholarship opportunities. Interested in learning more?
