Our tuition-free, public charter school serves students in grades K–9 that reside in the East Baton Rouge Parish School District. We are proud to be part of the BASIS Charter Schools network which has been providing world-class education since 1998. Head of School
Jared began his career in education in 2002. He has served as a math and science teacher, as well as a school principal in New Orleans before joining BASIS Charter Schools in 2022.

Debbie has been with BASIS Charter Schools since 2017. She has 18 years of experience running nonprofits and small business. Her experience in education spans early childhood to adult education as well as workforce development.

Director of Student Affairs
Shandi began her career in education in 2007. She has held various positions over the years such as AP Biology Teacher, college counselor, and private school admissions and development. Shandi joined BASIS Baton Rouge Primary Mid City in 2021 as the Director of Student Affairs.

Lyndah began her career in education with BASIS Charter Schools in 2014. She has held the roles of Subject Expert Teacher and Director of Academic Programs.
