BASIS Charter School Students Named Flinn Scholars 2022

BASIS Charter School Students Named Flinn Scholars

Every year for the past 37 years, the Flinn Foundation and the Flinn Scholars Program have provided Arizona high school seniors with the opportunity to earn their prestigious, merit-based scholarship.

The Flinn Scholarship, designed to be used at a public Arizona college, is valued at more than $130,000 and covers tuition, housing, meals, as well as two study abroad experiences. It is awarded to only the highest-achieving students in the state, and competition for this coveted scholarship is fierce.

We are thrilled to announce that two out of the 20 Flinn Scholars are BASIS Charter School students:

  • Simra Maheen of BASIS Phoenix

  • Mia Osmonbekov of BASIS Flagstaff

Congratulations to you both for earning this award, and for your dedication to your educational journey. Everyone here at BASIS applauds your hard work and wishes you the best in your future endeavors.
