3 BASIS Charter School Students Named Flinn Scholarship Finalists

Three impressive high school seniors from the BASIS Charter Schools network are in the running for this year’s prestigious Flinn Scholarship.

The Flinn Scholarship is a full-ride scholarship valued at more than $130,000. It covers tuition, housing, meals, and study abroad programs at Arizona’s public universities. To be eligible for the award, students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and rank within the top 5% of their graduating class. Additionally, students must demonstrate leadership at school and in their communities.

We are proud to have three Flinn Scholarship Finalists for 2024:

Out of more than 1,000 applicants from across Arizona, only 36 students were chosen to advance as finalists. We are excited to have multiple BASIS Charter School students up for this highly competitive award!

The Flinn Foundation will be narrowing down the field of finalists in the coming months, ultimately choosing 20 students to become Flinn Scholars. The winning seniors will be announced by the Flinn Foundation in April. Best of luck to Molly, Ariana, and Edward!

We love celebrating student accomplishments from across our public charter school network! To read more news from BASIS Charter Schools, click here.
