BASIS San Antonio Primary Northeast is a tuition-free public charter school. Beginning Fall 2026, BASIS San Antonio Primary Northeast will serve grades K–5. We set the foundation for academic success with our accelerated curriculum, robust student support system, and variety of enriching extracurriculars.





We are a welcoming elementary school where students build strong foundations in a supportive, engaging environment. From the earliest grades, students grow in confidence and develop a love of learning. Students build essential skills in reading, writing, math, science, and the arts through structured, hands-on instruction. With caring teachers and a close-knit community, every child is known and supported. Conveniently located off I–35, we offer before- and after-school care to support families.

BASIS San Antonio Northeast extracurriculars change year to year based on student interest. Some of our most recent offerings include Gaming Club, Cooking Club, Arts & Crafts Club, Dance, and University Interscholastic League (UIL) Science and Math. We are also proud to offer competitive sports such as Soccer and Flag Football for grades 3 and above.
At BASIS San Antonio Northeast, our after-school program (Late Bird) fees are $250/month, with a $35 daily drop-in fee. Financial aid is available for qualifying families.
A typical class size at BASIS San Antonio Northeast is about 25–30 students. We have two teachers in the classroom from grades K–3, which reduces our student-teacher ratio.
Personal devices (including cell phones, smart watches, and computers) are not allowed in school. Students should leave their devices at home or keep them turned off and stored in their lockers or cubby.
Because cubbies are not a secure storage space, it is not advised that students store their valuables here. Please note that the school is not liable for lost or stolen devices.
Yes, BASIS Texas curriculum is 100% aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), a comprehensive set of learning expectations for all K-12 students in the state. As a BASIS Texas Charter School parent, state law allows you to request review of these teaching materials, instructional materials, and other teaching aids used in your student’s classroom.
