As a K–12 campus, our students are able to experience the full scope of the BASIS Charter School program. We provide plenty of opportunities for students to form connections with peers from different grade levels, with our older students often taking on leadership roles. Centrally located within the Eastmark community, our campus is equipped with an outdoor theatre and multipurpose gym. We have a tradition of closing out each school year with a fully student-run K–12 theatre production.

BASIS Mesa extracurriculars change year to year based on student interest. Some of our most popular primary school offerings are Lego Club and Arts & Crafts Club. In middle and high school, we offer academic competitions like Science Olympiad, Model UN, and Speech and Debate, as well as student-driven groups like BASIS Mesa Ambassadors, Pre-Med Club, and SSBTR (Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research). We also offer extracurricular opportunities within the Arts (Fine Arts, Orchestra, and Theatre). Additionally, we have a variety of sports. Our Supernova Athletics teams compete in the Canyon Athletic Association.
Full-day kindergarten at BASIS Mesa is $400 per month. This cost includes access to our after-school program, Late Bird. Our half-day kindergarten program is tuition-free.
At BASIS Mesa, our after-school (Late Bird) fees are $35/day.
A typical class size at BASIS Mesa is 32 students. We have two teachers in the classroom from grades K–3, which reduces our student-teacher ratio. Additionally, our class sizes become smaller as students enter the high school grades.
BASIS Mesa offers Mandarin, Spanish, French, and Latin.
BASIS Mesa has a strict no cell policy within the school building during class hours. Students may use cell phones before or after school in our campus courtyard.
