What Makes Us Special

BASIS Tucson Primary has an expansive fine arts program, with Visual Arts, Theatre and Music offered at all grade levels. After school, students can participate in activities such as Soccer, Basketball, Chess, Choir and Dance. We are proud to have dedicated, supportive and fun-loving teachers who inspire our students every day. Our students come to class excited to learn and eager to participate!

BASIS Tucson Primary extracurriculars change year to year based on student interest. Some of our recent offerings include Beginning Strings, Choir, Pokemon Club, POMS (Cheerleading), Petting Zoo, Dodgeball, Clay Club, Chess Club, Soccer, Badminton, and Bowling.

Full-day kindergarten at BASIS Tucson Primary is $400/month. Families may add on our after-school program (Late Bird) for an additional $200/month. Our half-day kindergarten program is tuition-free.

A typical class size at BASIS Tucson Primary is 32 students. We have two teachers in the classroom from grades K–3, which reduces our student-teacher ratio.

BASIS Tucson Primary offers Mandarin. When students advance to BASIS Tucson North for high school, they may choose from Mandarin, Spanish, French, or Latin.

At BASIS Tucson Primary, cell phones must be kept in backpacks and turned off.
