What are the Arizona Department of Education school letter grades?

Every year, the Arizona Department of Education ranks every public school in the state on a letter grade scale from A-F. This ranking system is based on factors such as state assessment results, year-over-year academic growth, and graduation rates. Letter grades are released in the fall and are based on data from the prior school year. For example, the school letter grades released in fall of 2025 were based on data from the 2024–25 school year.

The A-F letter grades are intended to provide parents with an overview of how a school is performing.

To learn more about the school letter grade system,
visit the Arizona State Board of Education website. You can also find detailed information about the performance of each of our schools by visiting the AZ School Report Cards portal and searching for your local BASIS Charter School.
