Celebrating Advik Manchanda’s Proclamation from Texas Governor Greg Abbott

We are thrilled to share some incredible news about Advik Manchanda, a proud student of BASIS Cedar Park.

This January has been a milestone month for Advik – not only did he celebrate his 10th birthday, but he also received a prestigious proclamation from Texas Governor Greg Abbott recognizing his outstanding achievements in chess.

Advik’s dedication to the game has led him to remarkable success, including:

  • National Champion title
  • Candidate Master status
  • Silver medal at the World School Chess Championship in Peru, proudly representing Texas and the United States on the global stage

This honor is a testament to Advik’s relentless hard work, strategic mindset, and sportsmanship. We truly appreciate the continuous support from BASIS Cedar Park in nurturing young talents like him.

Thank you for celebrating this special moment with us!
