We offer a wide range of AP courses, as well as post-AP capstone courses for our seniors. We are proud of our diverse learning community and positive school culture. BASIS DC extracurriculars change year to year based on student interest. However, here are some of our recent offerings:

Certamen, Debate, Math Counts, Model UN, National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Arts and Crafts, Digital Art, Ethics, Black Student Union, Chinese Culture, Bible Study and Fellowship, Embroidery, Green Team, GSA, Games Galore, Gender Equality, Investment, Knitting, Mock Club, Music Club, Drama, Tae Kwon Do, Yearbook, Youth Volunteer, Youth and Government

At BASIS DC, our after-school (Late Bird) fees are $2,000/year or $275/month. Our daily drop-in fee is $35/day.

A typical class size at BASIS DC is 30 students.

BASIS DC offers Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Latin.

At BASIS DC, cell phones must be turned off and put away during class. Students in grades 8–12 may have them during lunch.
