BASIS Charter Schools Earn #1 Niche Rankings in Arizona

We are proud to announce that BASIS Charter Schools were ranked #1 in Arizona by Niche! The new 2025 Niche Best Schools rankings recognized BASIS Scottsdale as the #1 Best Public High School in Arizona and BASIS Mesa as the #1 Best Public Elementary School in Arizona.


Niche ranks schools by gathering data from a variety of sources, including the U.S. Department of Education, reviews from current and former students and families, and student- and parent-submitted surveys. Their K–12 rankings aim to give parents a comprehensive view of schools in their neighborhood.

You might notice that our middle school rankings are very close to our high school rankings, and there’s a reason for that! The BASIS Charter Schools network does not have any standalone middle schools. Instead, we have K–12 schools or combined middle school and high schools that serve grades 5–12 or 6–12.
