BASIS Charter School Student Banks on Leadership Success

BASIS Tucson North student Pia G. has been selected for the Bank of America’s Student Leaders® Program.

Through this program, Bank of America connects successful junior and senior high school students to various opportunities. Students gain employment, and service skills through the program. Students like Pia receive a paid internship, and the ability to participate in a week-long virtual leadership summit.

In addition to being named a student leader, Pia is the Student Development Committee Chair for BASIS Tucson North, and a research assistant at the University of Arizona’s SEMA lab. During the eight-week summer program they will be participating in an internship working with young people at the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson.

Congratulations to Pia G. for representing BASIS Charter Schools as an exemplary student leader.
