Congratulations to Our Class of 2023

Congratulations to Our Class of 2023

We would like to give a big CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Class of 2023 BASIS Charter School graduates.

May 2023 and early June 2023 were filled with commencement ceremonies across our high schools in Arizona, Texas, and Washington, D.C. All in all, we had over 700 students graduate from 13 different high schools—BASIS Ahwatukee, BASIS Chandler, BASIS Flagstaff, BASIS Goodyear, BASIS Mesa, BASIS Oro Valley, BASIS Peoria, BASIS Phoenix, BASIS Prescott, BASIS Scottsdale, BASIS San Antonio Shavano, BASIS Tucson North, and BASIS Washington, D.C.

We are incredibly proud of everything our seniors have accomplished during their time at BASIS Charter Schools. From AP® Exams to post-AP Capstone courses designed to emulate the college classroom, our seniors have pushed themselves academically and mastered content more advanced than what you would typically find in a high school curriculum.

Many of our seniors chose to spend the last trimester of senior year completing a Senior Project. This 10-week, off-campus research project gives students a chance to dive deep into a research question that interests them. Through their Senior Projects, our Class of 2023 honed their research skills and made direct impacts on many fields of study. Click here to check out the exceptional projects created by our students.

We wish our seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors and have no doubt that they will excel in college! Our Class of 2023 has been accepted to some of the nation’s most prestigious colleges and universities. Some of the schools our graduates will be attending this fall include:

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology
  • Harvard University
  • Johns Hopkins University
  • University of Pennsylvania
  • Duke University
  • Amherst College

The hard work and determination shown by our seniors has certainly paid off. Congratulations, Class of 2023—we can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll accomplish!
