The 2025 Flinn Scholars are here!
BASIS was thrilled to have nine students selected as Flinn Scholar semifinalists this year—representing over 10% of all semifinalists from across Arizona!
Of these semifinalists, four BASIS Charter School students went on to become Flinn Scholars, securing a prestigious full-ride scholarship. Please join us in congratulating our winners:

Valued at over $130,000, the Flinn Scholarship is one of the most competitive scholarships in Arizona. It provides a full ride to any of Arizona’s public universities—covering tuition, housing, meals, and even study abroad experiences.
Each year, just 20 students are selected from a highly competitive pool of more than 1,000 applicants statewide. The selection process is intensive, featuring multiple rounds of interviews. We are proud to have four Scholars from our network this year!
To be eligible for the Flinn Scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or above and be in the top 5% of their graduating class. Additionally, the Flinn Foundation looks for students that have demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities, both in school and in their communities.
Adam, Cindy, Smilangi, and Sudeep will be joining a network of more than 700 current and alumni Flinn Scholars. The Flinn Foundation frequently holds exclusive networking events and social activities, connecting Scholars with local community leaders and helping them find new professional development opportunities.
