The annual Family Favorites list in Baton Rouge Parents magazine celebrates the best schools and businesses located in the Baton Rouge area. Family Favorites are selected by reader votes. For the 2023 list, more than 119,000 votes were cast! 

We are proud to announce that BASIS Baton Rouge Materra is a 2023 Baton Rouge Parents Family Favorites winner in the following three categories!  

  • Favorite Charter Elementary School  
  • Favorite Charter Elementary School Principal (Jared Lamb) 
  • Favorite Charter Middle School Principal (Jared Lamb) 

BASIS Baton Rouge Materra was also the runner up for Favorite Charter Middle School
